1924 Spanish RenovationThe owner, a significant Hollywood director found this incredible home with views of Miami’s Biscayne Bay. From the beginning all agreed the original architecture would remain intact but that the inside would reflect a casual eclectic blend of materials and furnishings which would include a Bulthaup custom kitchen and a space for the young children to play. As noted in the photos, it was important to be mindful in the design process that the three dogs were to have free rein of the home. One of the most exciting parts of the furnishings was to create a custom table by a well known Miami artist for the children to do their homework on. Another requirement was to add a large invisible screen in the living room for film previews but which would disappear into the ceiling when not in use.
