Exclusive Conchas Chinas in Puerto Vallarta

Located high in the mountains overlooking all of Puerto Vallarta are 13 private villas stacked up the mountain side which requires a Funicular to access each home.  The property has a 16’ high fence as it borders the jungle with its native animal kingdom!  The interior spaces were re-worked to create space for art as well as a more secluded kitchen which is a popular feature in Mexico due to the availability of staff.  To conserve and utilize space, an in-wall bed was installed but disguised by the same custom screening as used for the closets in the guest bedroom, thus creating an office/den with sleeping accommodations.  The intricate screening detail allowed for airflow which is so important in the humid conditions.  Full advantage was taken of the wrap around balconies with its 180 degree views for dining and sculpture display.  The furniture was custom made in Guadalajara and Mexico City.
