Guest Cottage & Vacation Rental, Sea Club I on Longboat Key

The free standing cottage was directly on the Gulf of Mexico and was a part of a 24 unit project that was developed by Richard Russell Design. Each of the units were furnished by the designers and sold turnkey as the property remained a resort featuring vacation rentals. The interiors were designed to reflect a colorful and playful experience of beach front living.  Architectural features were added to develop private patios for each unit. As the property had considerable deferred maintenance, a full renovation was required both in and outside.  The resort continues to operate as a successful vacation rental.  With the resort’s success, the developers/owners were encouraged to renovate and develop 14 more commercial projects which included more vacation rentals, time shares and primary residences.
