A Nod to Prairie Style on Davis Island

This 4 bedroom home was in rough shape when purchased and had low ceilings in the living room.  However, the bones were there.  New plans called for raising the ceiling in the living room to 14’, adding an original brick patio accessed by new doors from the family room and relocating the master bedroom.  The kitchen was totally redone with a large island and a built-in bar added, as well as newly renovated bath rooms and numerous built-ins.  To create a 20’ entry foyer to house art and sculpture, space was taken from the unused exterior.  A 12’ long pond with waterfall was constructed to guide guests into the front entrance.
